Ravi taught undergraduate CS for over a decade before leaving academia, frustrated that curriculum committees moved too slowly to matter to students entering an AI-saturated job market. He now reports on the gap between what schools teach and what employers actually screen for, visiting bootcamps and university departments across India, Southeast Asia, and occasionally Europe. He's particular about distinguishing marketing claims from real placement outcomes. He still guest-lectures occasionally, which keeps him inside the room where these decisions get made.
